SRS Students & Staff got into the giving side of Christmas for Teens Unite.

On Friday 11th December staff and students got into the giving side of Christmas when they dressed in festive themed jumpers and accessories.  As students arrived in school they were encouraged to make donations to the wide selection of staff who gathered at the main entrance to greet them. Later in the day staff and students posed in their jumpers and accessories for pictures beside the school Christmas tree.  Over one thousand pounds was raised to be donated to Teens Unite (a teenage cancer support trust). Mrs Russell would like to thank all staff and students who lent their support in making this festive, charity event such a success.  “We look to raising even more in donations while dressing ourselves and our pets in seasonal attire next year” she said. All staff and students on the school charities committee wish those who made donations a “Happy Christmas for 2015”. Merry Christmas
